Our next release is just around the corner! We're currently finishing
up feature development work and expect to release our new version
next month. This blog post also discusses some of the stability
problems we've experienced as of late.
We will introduce paid plans soon and we now share a preliminary
version of our pricing. You will choose between three paid plans for
private, public and embedded apps. There will be a limited, no-cost
plan meant for personal use. We also discuss our enterprise plans and
much more.
Running and editing very large apps now works better, thanks to our
having tripled the memory available to our server. More work will be
done in the future to enable very large apps to be edited and run
with no performance issues.
Inserting spaces in panel labels and app titles now works again. We
have completed work on the new payment experience and are working
hard on supporting apps that require users to sign in.
Heath has noted that his app icon gains a Chrome overlay icon when
installed to a user's home screen on Android. Our co-founder David
explains that this issue will go away when we revise our offline
feature.
We're currently busy introducing paid plans to Calcapp, which
explains why the blog has been more quiet than usual. Our post has
more details on what we're currently working on.
Superscripts and subscripts appear above and below the baseline of
the text, respectively, and are useful when writing mathematical
formulas. Use them today in Calcapp Creator by copying and pasting
the characters in this post.
You can now change your password using a new account settings box. If
you have a system-generated password, you will be asked to change it
the next time you sign in. Finally, you can now reset your password.
Editing and running very large apps is now a much smoother
experience. Our server now processes changes to such apps much more
efficiently. Also, navigating to a new panel in a very large app
should now be instantaneous for most apps.
